Esto es mas una historia que un post, pero todo gira alrededor de NiceTranslator, Aqui Vamos!
La verdad no se si alguien lea esto, pero si lo hace, solo les doy crédito a dos personas, las cuales son Arturo Goga con su post de NiceTranslator(el cual no se relaciona mucho con el mio [excepto por la base]) , y a Nicky Hajal por dejarme contar el meollo del asunto.

Todo comenzó cuando buscaba un traductor para entender una palabra que un amigo me dijo cuando chateábamos (luego supe que decía “Farfullar”), en un momento pensé en BabelFish, pero luego recordé que la otra vez en el post de Arturo Goga, vi un traductor, como se llamaba??… NiceTranslate, NiceTranslation, LO TENGO! NiceTranslator!.
Busqué ahí y como bien estaba mencionado en el dichoso post, se puede escoger traducirse en varios idiomas a la vez, y que detecta el idioma de la palabra(s), así que le dí una oportunidad.

Dejando que la curiosidad me domine, seguí probando algunas palabras, y vi que (como en todo traductor hecho con una máquina) no era perfecto, así que en un momento de locura y admiración espontanea, decidí enviarles un correo para informar de algunos LEVES fallos, así que busqué, hasta que vi que en la barra inferior había un botón que decía “Contact”, y le dí click, pero luego (cuando estaba casi terminando el mail) me dí cuenta de que le estaba escribiendo a la red que organiza todo (nicetranslator y muchas cosas más las cuales no sé) [por cierto, en ese momento creí que le estaba escribiendo al soporte web], así que busqué otra manera, luego pensé dejar un comentario, un SIMPLE comentario, y al hacer eso me di con la sorpresa de que existe una opción para que te respondan a tu e-mail, y yo, todo ingenuo, marqué esa opción, creyendo que demorarían días, así que dejé el comentario y seguí con lo mio (en ese momento estaba editando un video de runescape [en ingles] el cual en el momento en el que escribo este post esta siendo editado o subido a youtube)

Luego de como 30 minutos decidí entrar al gtalk para ver si alguien estaba conectado, aprovechando que ya había terminado de renderear la primera edición del video, y me doy con la sorpresa de que alguien me había escrito personalmente en inglés, creyendo que era SPAM, estuve a punto de borrarlo, pero por mera curiosidad lo abrí, y era nada más y nada menos que la respuesta a mi comentario (de la misma persona a la que le escribí pensando que era el soporte web).

This is more of an history than a post, but all is around NiceTranslator, Here we go!

In fact, i dont really know if someone is going to read this, but if (s)he does, im only giving credit to 2 very important people, first Arturo Goga with its post of NiceTranslator(which isnt SO related with mine [except by NiceTranslator, of course!]) , and to Nicky Hajal for letting me writing the climax of this history.

All started when i was looking for a translator, so i can fully understand what a friend said on the chat (the word was “Mumble”), at the beggining i thought about Yahoo`s BabelFish, but then i remembered that last time i went into Arturo Goga`s blog i saw an post about this, how was it called???… NiceTranslate, NiceTranslation, GOT IT! NiceTranslator!.
Got into that webpage and as the post said, it can translate in several languages at the same time, and it auto-detect the idiom in which the original word/sentence is written, so i gave it a shot.

Wandering around this marvelous translator, i kept trying words, until i found that as every single translator that is from a machine, it wasnt perfect, so at a joy-and-madness moment, i decided to send them a mail for report some little mistakes, so i looked for anywhere to contact them, just when i found the “Contact” button, and i wrote my mail there, until, when i was almost over i noticed that i was writing to the main enterprise [what i thought that was the web-master], so i kept looking (again) for another way to report some news, until i thought that a normal comment will be enough, and meanwhile i was doing that, my eyes looked at a comment feature, that said “Please reply if possible (Via E-Mail/Comments)”, and i thought that it will take days or even weeks, so i just made the comment and returned to my common activities (at that moment i was editing a runescape video, which, now is still being edited / uploaded to youtube)

After about 30 minutes i went into g-talk, so i could see if someone was logged in, approaching that my video was finishing the first render, and when it opened, it said that i had 1 new mail, from a person called “Nicky” (it only shows the first word of sender), at first i though t i was a “SPAM”, but them just for curiosity i opened it, and it was the answer to my comment! (from the onle that i thought that was the web-master)
